Maria Carolina França works in the area of ​​economic regulation, focusing on Competition Law and Consumer Law. In the advisory sphere, it contributes to the preparation of legal and economic opinions and studies, in Portuguese and English, for companies in various sectors of the economy. In the administrative sphere, it acts in the investigation of infractions to the economic order (coordinated and unilateral conduct), in the representation and support of companies before the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE). It also acts in the representation and support of companies in acts of economic concentration of mandatory notification before CADE. His expertise derives from the vast experience acquired in the General Superintendence and in the CADE Court, where he had the opportunity to act in national and international cases of cartels and unilateral conducts and in the analysis of mergers, as well as in the execution of terms of commitment to cease anti-competitive practice. Maria Carolina França also works in administrative proceedings pending before the National Consumer Secretariat.
