Matheus is a partner in the Data Protection and Privacy area, acting and conducting several LGPD- General Data Protection Law Compliance Programs. He is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe (CIPP/E), as well as being recognized as a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP). He has practical experience in Data Protection, having worked both in-house at a large multinational electronics company and as a service provider. He also acts in specific consultations and demands involving LGPD, GDPR- General Data Protection Policy for European Union and other Data Protection regulations, including cases in the National Data Protection Authority, specific assessments, audits, contractual reviews, advisory opinions, and other related matters. Academically, Matheus has extension courses in Data Protection and Digital Law; in particular, the extension courses at Data Privacy Brazil and FGV-SP (Getulio Vargas Foundation of São Paulo), and specializations in Contracts, by EPD- Paulista Law School, and in Economic Analysis of Law, by UNICAMP-Campinas University. Matheus is a university professor, having taught classes and courses in several institutions, among them Insper- Institute of Education and Research and FMP-RS-Higher School of Public Prosecution Foundation of Rio Grande do Sul.
