Francisco Kümmel Ferreira Alves
Francisco Kümmel is CMT’s Managing Partner (COO – Chief Operating Officer), responsible for institutional and strategic issues relevant to the firm as a whole, coordinating CMT’s operations in order to achieve maximum efficiency, transparency and sustainability, focusing on in processes that enhance the firm’s mission and values.
Joining the firm for 10 years, he coordinated the service to some of CMT’s biggest clients and later took over the management of the Porto Alegre unit. He has a broad understanding of public tenders and contracts, as well as business legal planning and the effective operationalization and implementation of corporate strategies.
It has expertise in negotiating contracts and commercial operations, organizing, coordinating and facilitating projects for the expansion and modernization of highly complex industrial plants, which together exceed R$ 1 billion, carrying out contract negotiation, due diligence , legal opinions and strategic analysis in favor of clients from different sectors.
A lawyer distinguished by his strategic vision and interdisciplinary knowledge, Francisco was asked by clients to act as a negotiator and strategist in several disputes involving the most varied conflicts, including corporate claims, contractual disputes, agreements and collective bargaining.
