Fabio Riva
Fabio Riva has more than 20 years of experience in Brazilian and cross-border litigation, compliance, competition law, regulation, intellectual property and technology.
Throughout his career, Fabio worked as an associate lawyer at leading law firms in São Paulo, Brussels and New York, advising clients from a wide range of sectors, including consumer goods, retail, construction, automotive, pharmaceutical, chemicals, oil and gas, financial services and technology.
Additionally, Fabio served for 15 years as a senior corporate counsel at a global consumer goods company, holding positions in Brazil, the United States and Europe.
Fabio graduated in Law at the University of São Paulo (USP) and obtained a Master’s degree in International Law from Université Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and a Master’s degree in Law (LLM) from the New York University. He is licensed to practice as attorney in Brazil (OAB-SP) and New York (NY State Bar).
Fabio is also a professor in the postgraduate program of Fundação Getúlio Vargas School of Law (FGV-SP), teaching courses on competition law, regulation, technology and strategic use of data.
